Do You Remember How it Feels to Put Pen on Paper?

Pen and paper have been around for centuries. People all around the world invented different types of pens that make writing feel different in your hand. The Chinese had the calligraphy brush, the Greek and Romans had the stylus—iron rods to write on waxed tablets. The Egyptians and Persians scribed with reed straws, and the mid-century Europeans began to write with reed pens and quills. Reed pens’ stiff tip gives sharp, bold edges while quills’ softer tips allow free-flowing thick and thin strokes.

It’s true that phones and computers can easily replace the technical functions of pen and paper, but they cannot replace the touch and feel of handwritings. Perhaps some stationery will bring that feeling back to you!
